IDC Technologies, Inc. (“IDC”) is an information technology (“IT”) staffing firm based in Milpitas, California (near Silicon Valley). IDC was founded in 2003 and is 100% owned by Prateek Gattani, a career IT professional who acquired IDC in 2007 and presently serves as IDC’s Chief Executive Officer. IDC’s revenue is primarily generated by providing contingent IT workers either as a direct vendor or as a managed service provider to large technology consultancies. IDC also offers permanent staffing, business process outsourcing, consulting, payrolling, human resources, and call center solutions. IDC has 13 offices in North America and placed more than 3,300 workers on behalf of its clients in 2020. IDC also employs over 1,500 internal employees dedicated to its North American operations, most of whom are recruiters based in India.
