Ion International Training Center (ITC) is a two-sheet ice rink arena serving world-class athletes from eight countries and two Team USA Ice Dance teams, 50 National competitor teams, figure skaters, hockey players and curling enthusiasts, as well as recreational skater and general public home to the only Tier 1 Travel Hockey club in Virginia. Ion ITC holds 23 youth travel teams, making it the largest youth hockey travel program in the Mid-Atlantic. The ice arena has a capacity of 3,500 seats but can be converted into a 5,500-seat venue for concerts and other such types of events that don’t require ice.
The venue holds concerts featuring performers such as Flo Rider and events such as A Holiday Dream on Ice and Oktoberfest Bon Jovi Tribute Band.
